This is my very 1st animation that I created based on a couple videos, one being of Kyrie Irving challenging Kobe Bryant, and the second of Uncle Drew playing pick up basketball as a Pepsi commercial. I do warn, if you have not viewed these two videos 1st, you will not understand 90% of the plays I take or the information being presented.

 

This animation was started on August 11, 2012 ending on October 18, 2012, a project I initially started to: (1) get some animating experience under my belt by finally "JUST DOING IT" and (2) gain some exposure, which hopefully will lead to opportunities in the professional ranks. My 1st upload was to a site you may have heard of called YOUTUBE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vyW89Vt-EU), and the 2nd was to a site by the name of World Star Hip Hop (http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshhGy9xkDk7iFv40rkL) where I received over 100k views in 1 day. THANX WSHH!! Now the video has taken off on several other sites and blogs.

 

So I believe I can honestly say that both of my goals were accomplished, plus I received additional information and feedback from this entire process. I'm learning more about trends, what makes something go viral, seo, links, and so much more helpful information that can only add to the success of future projects.

How to Draw: Vector Tutorial

I have always wanted to spread my love for art by teaching and showing others my work process. I have learned alot over the past few months about different styles and techniques used by various artists to pull off a flawless masterpiece. I recently started using the vector pen tool about a month ago and have grown to love it.

Below is my very first video tutorial I've created along with my very own original music, which is also my first track. I'm proud of both of these projects and hope this is a beginning of many tutorials.

The baby that I am drawing is an adorable young lad by the name of Jensen. He was so cute, I rushed at the chance to get a picture from his aunt to use in my next vector project.
